potato and ginger has the same genes.

let me tell you the story of potato and ginger.

first of all, potato means ubi and ginger means halia in Malay.
if you still don't know what it is, maybe these pictures can help you.

this is a potato.

and gingers.

By just reading the names and looking at those pictures, you can just spot the difference right away right?

so here's how the story started. i am a bit fussy when it comes to food. i don't share them, i don't throw them, etc. until this fateful day.

my sister (she's a chef having her 10 days of holidays) and I were at the kitchen. she was preparing things to cook for lunch. and I, of course the girl who sometimes hate Asian's food trying to cook my own western food. which is MASHED POTATO.

I love the idea of dicing my own food, from onions to potato. I just love them. Somehow, to me the food looks tastier that way. HAHAH. Anyway, my sister diced lots of gingers because she wanted to cook for the whole family and I who loves mashed potato also diced lots of potatoes.

After finished dicing my potatoes I boiled them inside the microwave-oven while cooking the gravy. I did everything from A to Z. and at last I have my mashed potato. I have to admit, the smell was a bit different when my potatoes came out from the oven. but whatever. I figured that since I'm not a chef, of course the cooking taste horrible right?

I placed my gravy on my hotly-mashed potato and guess what happened when I ate them?

Me: *makes funny face*
Kaka Yu: Kenapa eh? *tastes my mashed potato*
Kaka Yu: HAHA. Talur. Halia jua yang kau masak ani bukannya Potato. HAHA.

okay-okay, I accidentally took the wrong plate when I wanted to boil the potato inside the oven.
But, i just don't see any difference BETWEEN POTATO AND GINGER WHEN YOU PEEL AND DICED EM' OFF. do you??
diced potato

diced ginger

that's it. I QUIT cooking.

commitment propaganda

The thought of having a partner, getting married, have kids or any commitment related issues scared the shit out of me. You guys might think I have issues for making a big deal out of this. But true, I am making big deal out of this because I have issues. So, let me tell you why;

Timing is everything when you want to make a commitment. Because commitment can make a difference and difference can change your life.

Okay let’s just go straight to the point.

What I’m trying to say is, when is the right time to have a partner, marriage and kids? The time is always either too early or too late. Sooner or later, you’ll end up dying alone and lonely. HAHA.

okay, that's not funny.

People usually started to have a relationship when they were young (I mean, teenager). Lame old people especially ‘the old people’ at school would strongly disagree with such relationships. Why? They’re religiously old. They’ll give you warnings such as;

I have to say, their advice is so lame. But I do agree with the idea not to have a relationship at early age, because such relationships are damn stupid and corny (no offence people, HAHA.)

Another thing is getting married and kids.

Getting married and have kids are the biggest commitment of all time. The idea of marriage is a crap for me, but it’s kind of sweet though. HEHE. Again, timing is everything. Here’s what I think if you want to have spouse and children at the following ages;

20’s: TOO EARLY. Some people still need to focus on their study/career. And having kids can be the key to destroy your dreams. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

30’s: EARLY. At this age, you might already have ‘real career’ or very secure job. But since you have all the advantages, don’t you think you should have all the fun?

40’s: OKAY, but why do you want to destroy your marriage when life starts at forty? So my advices stay single. HEHE.

50’s: OOOPS, SORRY, TOO LATE.HAHA. Retirement is coming up. HAHA.

60’s: MENOPAUSED. Let’s just hope the younger generations are looking for the available old ones. HAHA.

70’s: PERVERT! Aren’t you supposed to have grandchildren already? HAHA.

80’s: No Viagra can help you mate. HAHA.

90’s: SENILE, you might end up at the graveyard the next day of your marriage.

100’s: CAREFUL. I’d rather die than being old, alone and lonely HEHE.

But in the end, we all will die alone and lonely. HAHA.
again, that's not funny.
sigh, I'm scared ='S

parallel world

what will happen if the parallel world really do exist somewhere in the universe? a place where everything is the opposite of each other. A place where Einstein is stupid and Jewish-less because the Nazis won the second world war? Well I was thinking, if somewhere out there, there's another me.

I'm sure, the another version of me is different. I'm sure she goes to the worst school, starving to death, can't afford any new stuffs etc.

Here are some theories of mine what's happening in the parallel world right now;

  • What will happen if the stone age people were still petrified of the fire? then no one will ever worship the fire and right now there's no such thing as religion. That means everyone is rich and happy because they don't have to celebrate x'mas, raya and they don't even have to pay for the zakat. The parallel world is carbon dioxide-less. And there's also no such thing as phone because in that world, Alexander Graham Bell is stupid.

picture above is just an imagination of another version of me, living in a world where there is no pollution, no debts, hanging out with happy people all the time.

  • But what if the parallel world is full of violence? I do not wish to talk about that. Maybe this picture can solve your imagination.

  • Lets just say, Brunei lost the Castille War against the Spanish. This, also means that the Spanish and the Dutch in Indonesia will have to sign a treaty of friendship. Because parts of Borneo which is Kalimantan belongs to Indonesia/Dutch.

So, there'll be lots of Indonesian immigrants to Brunei due to trades and stuffs. In the end, few centuries later, we'll have Indonesian decedent. The Spanish, of course they'll have to sell Brunei to the Dutch because the revolution in the Phillipines cost them a lot of money.

Now, lets imagine the another version of us if we have a great grandfather whose name starts with Sukarno, Jeje, Kris Supomo etc...

don't you think the culture will be a bit different? ;P

why living in south africa sucks

There are times in everyone's life, they have to make a decision between the good and the bad. I think my time has come. I've been living in luxury for too long. I say, I think it's time for me to be more sympathetic and thoughtful now.

After lots of research and searching, trying to find pictures to post in this blog. I found lots of them at flickr. Its like friendster, but most of them are usually professional photographers. Their picture speaks a thousand words. And I'm touched.

The End

hello again people,

I know some of you are dying to know what I'm going to write next in this blog.. WAIT, right now I only allow Fatin and Izzah to view my blog. So yeahhh. Whatever.

anyway,

I have few difficulties when it comes
to feed the appetite of demanding audiences of mine. I just don't know how make my blog interesting in order to satisfy them.

So, I've decided to talk about some of my friends.

(1) Lets starts with the girl. My best friend/foe since form one. But I
LOVE her =)
her name is
Fatin,
that's a candid picture of her. she looks ugly here. to tell you people the truth she's nice from the inside out, upside down... what else? =)

(2) Now lets move on to the next best friend of mine, SAGU =D
about her;
smart but not geek
(sorry, but I think that's all I could think of =))

(3) CAT and NAZATUL =)
Cat and Nazatul both are smart ass people. I made friends with them this year. FYI, before I knew them, I always thought Nazatul was a geek and Cat was just some depressing bitch. So yeahhhh. Turns out they're the coolest people I've ever met =)

(4) Meet Amalia,
also known as, Dalai Lama, Mamalir, Mamaling etc~ right now she's having sextuplet with different men. How's that happened? I have no idea.

being rude

hello and sorry for not introducing myself at the very beginning of this blog. That was very rude of me.
please, I'm not always rude. First impression is always important to me

say hello to Barney and Me

my name is
Izuana.
Born on the 27th February 1992.

at first, I decided to write something bad about the teachers at school. But then I changed my mind. I felt sorry for them. They're just doing their job. But the thing is, they didn't do it right ;)

I know, blogging is for the people who doesn't have a life. Well, I guess, I have to agree with that statement. I don't have a life. And I am a loner. I got depress all the time, due to dysfunctional family of mine, being the most stupid in class well, make that the second stupid in class. - now that's RUDE =)

I am single, and I fell in love with the same guy for the past three years (make that four years). OH. I DON'T HAVE LOVE LIFE F.Y.I. The only reason my life is interesting is because I've got a pocket full of change. Thanks to Daddy.

I love to tease my friends and lanja and manjakan them ;) seriously, I enjoy that. Currently I love to lanja and selalu memanjakan Amalia. Before Amalia I did all those stuffs with Fatin. =)

for now, Izuana OUT.

big surprise for breakfast

The only good way to start your day is by doing something you like. Not by doing something ordinary and immune to you.

Take my morning for instance.

Just make sure you have the Barney's Big Surprise after sleep and Bin Bin for breakfast ;)
