Hi, you guys must be wondering what's up with me and the lack of updates on my blog. You see, I just back from fairyland called 'Happyland' also known as 'Gayland'. Such a wonderful place.

Went there for few days. I lived in a castle. Met a handsome princess. Her name is Anauzi Archapilago.

We got married :) Well, not exactly married, apparently that land is no fairyland at all. Same-sex marriage is illegal there. HOW VERY IRONIC. :P

So, our gay priest performed our 'Commitment Ceremony'. HAHA :D

My first Temburong trip

Have you guys been missing me lately? I just got back from Temburong with Brunei Adventure Recreational Association. There were only 8 of us though but paying $35 for the trip is totally worth it. ;)

We stopped at Labu estate balai raya (yellow house). They have goat farm opposite.

I celebrated x'mas eve with abg boy and nas at the only prestigious hotel in bandar. HAHA. Then, celebrated it again with abid around 2-ish am through oovoo. Nj was suppose to join us. but i bet she's sleeping right now. She has to get up early for her 'FLIGHT' tomorrow. HAHA. ;P I wonder apa nj kan belikan aku.... HMMMMMM ;D

How to ruin your super awesome shoe

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I'm in pain.

So, I didn't get the chance to go online yesterday, cos, again I went hiking at place where no civilization has ever reached. I have no idea what's it called but it is somewhere at Mentiri. Worst, NO TRAILS! We have to figure things out by ourself. I let the elders do that though cos I was in pain from the hooks and broken twigs kept on poking me. The hooks and twigs are strong enough to open my shoe lace! Just imagine my PAIN.

I'm seriously in pain. But again, the hike with BARA organization was fun. This time I'm a bit improved cos I was conscious all the time even though 3 big bottles of water were not enough for the journey.

We started around 9-ish, ended around 3-ish..

I saw Zul or ayai and Dihar again, but this time, Ibnu joined us..

Eating at very awkward position. Steep hill I'm telling you.

Me and Abg Boy sat near the GIANT tree. Huge I'm telling you.

All in all, I kind of ruin my shoe. Oh well, Abg Boy said he'll bring me to the shop later and buy me a proper hiking shoes!

First and foremost, let me tell you how today went. It went great. Zirah and Abid were 'QUIET' late. Worst, Amalia didn't make it. SIGHHH. Oh well, as punishment, Zirah, Abid and I tagged her face on picture below.

We also tagged the others. HAHA.

We spent hours at Coffee Bean..Onlineeee saja... Abid showed off his games.. Zirah, 'flirting-flirting' with 'old people'. HAHA.

OH OH! ZIRAH BOUGHT ME MY FAVOURITE X'MAS ITEM! X'MAS CRACKERS! AWESOMEEE!

At first she wanted to buy me Playboy brand stuff. But then I changed her mind. I said buy me either x'mas tree or x'mas crackers. In the end I told her to buy me x'mas crackers! Mahal kaliahhhh walaupun 30% discount. But.... OH WELL... Ia sayang aku kan.. HEHE.

It was my treat at Ahan Thai (like alwayssss whenever zirah's around ;p). I ate Kuew Tiaw Basah & water, Zirah ate... um... entah.. something edible I guess & Milo normal size glass... Abid ate... Something edible pattaya & XL sized something drinkable.

Stupid thing happened when the bill arrived.

I made plans today. What I should, what I will do this holiday. FINALLY.

I was thinking that I should hike at Tasik Merimbun, then walk myself to gerai makan nearby. I think the stalls are the nearest thing to exotic place to eat. It reminds me of Thailand (except here is a bit cleaner).

Then, I should stay at cheapest hotel in town KH SOON RESTHOUSE or Apek Utama Hotel. At night I could hang out at the 24-hour cafe. I could stayup there till late night.

That should be awesome. I need a little get away anyway.

Cheap = Dangerous = ADVENTURE ;)

Maybe I should take a tour around Kampung Ayer, I love the boat.

Standing on a cave. Hill cave to be exact.

Bouldering is no fun. Abg Boy and I sat down, because we were afraid of heights. Btw, That's Dihar behind me.

I'm still tired from being stranded on an island called Pulau Berambang. It was only a few kilometers away from our town and another few kilometers away from the boarder of Brunei and Sarawak.

Believe me it was a magical place. Ironically there's a civilization living there. The car has no license plate. Some have it, some don't. Some had half of it (at least they're trying). The kids drove around with motorcycle. It has one main road. They have newly built house but most of them are still made out of woods.

The island has no connection with the mainland. Their only hope is boat. When I first came there along with Abang Boy and his good friend Nas, we felt like sophisticated strangers from big city and suddenly came into the lives of these villagers. They looked at us with eyes wide open.

The Malays living on the island are very traditional. I was shocked that only the 'Ketua Kampong' has astro. Super traditional I'm telling you. No words could describe how very traditional these people are.

Anyway, we walked for few kilometers to the Ketua Kampong's house, he gave us visitor's book to sign it. He was kind enough to give us lift to BARA's camping site. We felt lie tourist in our own country.

We arrived at BARA's camping site. The organizers were already there. Only 13 of us. Ironically the head of organizer was my mum's ex boyfriend when they were still teenager AND IRONICALLY HER EX BOYFRIEND'S SON IS A STUDENT AT MS. FORM 5 2008! HAHA.

We hike to the rock climbing site. The hills were all steep and slippery. It's a 3 km walk, but half-way there, I got so sick and decided to rest.

Me: OMG, Abg Boy, I think I'm having altitude sickness... *tired tone*

Abg Boy: You can't have altitude sickeness at 900 meters above sea level! You only get them at 10 000 feet! Ngalih saja tu!

Me, all blurry and dizzy could only afford to listen to him. I was REALLY tired.

Abg Boy: OMG na! You're pale! Sit down!

So I sat down, drank water. Nas, Abg Boy and uncle sulaiman (my mum's ex) stayed with me while the rest proceed. It took me awhile to recover. At last my lips were no longer white and decided to proceed.

The adventure was an ass. I slipped few times, and finally after 3 km walk, we arrived at the rock climbing area. We camped there for awhile. Eat can food. Climb a bit.

Then we decided to head back home.

On our way down, we decided to take short cut. My god. We should have used that road earlier! It took us only half an hour using that road. But the hills, the soil are more dangerous and slippery, again, I slipped a few times. Some even slide back down. It was painful.

That's my adventure so far for this holiday. It sucks! But I'm doing it again.. SOMEDAY.. ;)

Abg Boy asked me about my condition before stepping on the steep irregular stairs. HAHAH.

Errrr. Cigarettes kept the insects away. HAHA.

I had a webcam with abid. Haha. It was... CHAOTIC.

My sister butt in and pressed F2 for a long time and screamed at abid "FLIRTINGGG! HOW OLD ARE YOU TO BE FLIRTING WITH MY SISTER?!"

Of course, she said it in friendly way. She just raised her voice. It was crazy even abid said so. My mum heard my sister and she too butt in. Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to press print screen with my mum in it, just my sister. Haha.

Abid told me that he wanted to form a band, he wanted me to be the pianist, himself as the guitarist and now all we need is a vocalist. I suggested amalia, I totally forgot how horrible she sang at the arcade. HAHA.

Anyway, I also told abid that I wanted 60% of the profit, he should have 40%. Then he said, I should think about the entourage too. I decided to split it 60-20-20. He still diagrees :|

I spent most of my life hating Malaysian movies because they are so lame, and Indonesian movies because I couldn't understand their accent even though they speak Malay.

But since I am bored to death and I feel like want to shoot myself, I decided to watch them anyway.

The results are still the same. But the actors/singers (Malaysian/Indonesian) caught my eye. They all looked SUPERRRR HOT!

And so, I went to Malaysia/Indonesia's Online Gossips and found more and more hot people. Sighhhh I adore orang melayu :) (Wait, Indonesian kira orang melayu jua kah? hmmm)

There were loads of hot men at the gossip blog, so I narrowed it down to 3 people (haha. ketara wah pemalas ah)

First goes to Malaysian singer: Sean Ghazi.
I downloaded his song, the genre was 1950's malay classic! Genius! He brought back P.Ramlee! I love him! Everything about reminds me of Michael Buble. Except Sean Ghazi's more good looking ;)

The second one goes to one of the Chandrawinata brothers, Marcel! I know, Marcel and Mischa are twins, but I somehow prefer Marcel. He's an Indonesian actor btw.

Anyway, while I was busy looking for hot men, a title caught my eye. Damn it, I lost it. Anyway, it said something about Siti Nurhaliza's step-sons, I totally forgot she's married already :S I clicked on the title I SAW DATUK K'S SONS! One of them is HOT. Hehe.

That's him! Haha!

I think his youngest brother is the cutest brat ever. Haha.

You know, for a second I thought I was crazy last night. I thought I was losing my mind already. It was one of my bizarre experience that I saw the moon crescent with two stars on it as if they were smiling at me.

I guess I'm not the only crazy here. I think Faizah is crazy too. I read her blog, she said the moon was smiling at her too.

I think my mum's crazy too. She also said the same thing about the moon. I wonder why people went crazy last night and said the moon was smiling at them probably because of boredom. Who knows..

Anyway, I went outside and the moon was gone. Faded by clouds. My mum asked "Masih ada smiley face atu lai?"

I remember when I was young, six years old or so. I was all excited and naive about being a teenager.

"I can't wait till I'm a teenager, I'll hang out with my friends all day during holiday, it should be fun! Not bored like this!" I said to myself.

Now that I am 16, it has been weeks since I last heard news from my friends. I am bored to death. Losing my mind. Yet, still no word. No morning message asking;

"GOOD MORNING IZY! WOULD YOU LIKE TO HANG OUT LATER?!"

None. Just silence. Once my phone ran out of power for a whole day, when I recharged them back, I expected to see loads and loads of messages. Yet still, just silence!

I spent most my day practicing piano. Online, chat with the same person everyday. Hot stories? Gossips? NONE. Just silence.

Here I am typing desperate for a friend. I have no friend at home. My family consist of mature adults and immature toddlers only. They are so lame. They talk either politics or cartoons. Perez Hilton? Facebook? Harry Potter? Twilight? Dream on. I feel different in this family. I feel like George O'Malley. It doesn't matter if you see your family as your friend. But the truth is, they're not your friend, they're your F-A-M-I-L-Y. They have something in common with you. You didn't get to debate because you share the same thing.

It's different with a friend. You have something in common at the same time you get to debate. Which brings you closer together because you both were trying to read each other's mind. That's the challenge I WANT!

After 6 agonizing days of boredom, my mum finally decided to take a day off from work. THANK GOD.

My day started with practicing with MY BRAND NEW PIANO, online, shower. The end.

No wait, not yet.

And then at 3 pm, I asked (plead kind of) to my mum to take me somewhere. Away from this boring nest.

We had late lunch at Excapade Shukodu Serusop. I ordered Mini California Special and Hana set and guess what happened?

After hours of SLOW service. The waitress finally came to our table.

Waitress: Here's you chicken teriyaki don ma'am

Me: chicken teriyaki? I didn't order chicken teriyaki. I ordered Mini California Special..

Mummy: Ada jua Alai cakap chicken teriyaki tadi..

Me: Ah? Yakahhhhhh?

So I oredered the wrong menu. Damn. My mind was thinking Mini California Special but my body said otherwise.

Anyway, we went to Giant. Sunday Special today, we bought 6 kg of chicken and bread. Went to Supa Save because I was craving for Salsa. I also bought tiny version coca-cola. Sakai aku ah. HAHA.

So I guess that's it. Still lame. Sighhhhh. This is going to be a LONG holiday..

Just got back from Mamalir's blog. There's a picture of her smoking. I don't if that's true or not. But........ IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD ON HER.

Hm, do you guys want to listen to my view(s) about smoking? Honestly, I think smoking is cool. I don't know why, but I really think they're cool. I have good reasons why I don't smoke, first is because I am an asthmatic patient, I've been healthy for awhile though. Second is, I don't want the smell to stick on me and last but not least I hang out with the right crowd.

So, there you go. I don't smoke because I'm a good kid, I have sympathy. I don't mind if other people smoke, as long as it doesn't harm me. Cos, you'll just simply ruin your cool reputation by just smelling like a walking cigarette butt.

Good morning everyone. After a good night sleep, I woke up at exactly 5.32 am. I woke up with a huge smile on my face and decided to go to my mum's room. Just to sleep next to her (awu manja tah ku tu).

I made my way to her room and suddenly stop in front of her door. I saw a note saying: "Mamih inda balik, hari ani Giant ada stock take-17/11/08"

So yeah. I changed my mind and went to the kitchen instead. My mum hasn't been home for 13 hours now. But, I decided to entertain myself while waiting for her! I've decided to make my own color paint. Check out how. HAHA. Baru jua sehari cuti.

Two cups of cornflour.

Half-cup of liquid starch.

3 cups of water.

Mix em' all together.

Add color.

Mix em'.

Heat it until it gets thicker.

Add salt.

Don't forget to put warning label. E.g; "POISON DO NOT EAT!"

Leave it to cool.

Oh shit, jadi agar-agar tia. Oh well, you can always add hot water whenever you want to use them.

You know what is so annoying? Annoying stuff doyy. Now that's annoying. Guess what? Currently my two favorite fiction books are Harry Potter and Twilight series. It actually got me thinking. It got me thinking hard. And now I have one question each for J.K Rowling and Stephenie Meyer.

Question 1 goes to J.K Rowling (in harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban): When someone met a boggart (a shape-shifting creature that takes on the form of the viewer's worst fear) and that someone's fear is god, will the boggart shape itself into god?

Question 2 goes to Stephenie Meyer (in any twilight series): How come the vampires doesn't go mad and eat people whenever Bella or any human had their period?

Good afternoon everyone. I have a new hobby now. Just to fill my so called "masa-lapang". It's called Painting. I'm doing abstracts right now. But I only get the inspiration when ever I'm mad or boring. Well, mostly time keboringan. HAHA.

I've been meaning to post this story for awhile now, but you know.. I have exams and all, so yeahh. Anyway today’s event kind of motivated me to write. But I’m gonna write it short. I’m outside right now, freezing in the cold rain. HAHA. KETARA WAH KAN MENCARI FREE WIRELESS AHH. HAHA.

You don’t believe me? Ask the dishes. HAHA.

So, let’s start with Abg Boy picking me up from school at 3 today. We listened to podcast. HAHA. One the DJ called “he who never speaks” was kind of stupid. You know he’s there. But you never heard a word from him. HAHA. I mean it, NEVER. HAHA.

So, I arrived at the Health Promotion Center. It’s a new building supposed to be opened tomorrow. Well, the Sultan’s coming so I suppose it is. Then Abg Boy and I went to the gallery.

When I first entered the gallery the first thing I tried was the circle -kind of like fitting room. Blue one is for men and pink one is for women. Abg Boy told me to go to the pink room cos the blue room has testicles in it. I know, weird right.

So, I went inside the pink room.

It was tiny. It has television playing educational program. And three models of breasts. I called it the ‘PRON ROOM’. HAHA. You can actually squeeze them and find out what’s wrong with them. It was kind of hilarious. But I took it seriously.

After few perverted minutes I decided to get out of the room. My educational perspective suddenly changed when I saw the blue room. I wonder what’s in it. I remember Abg Boy told me there are testicles in it. I wonder if they are squeeze-able. HAHA. For me I think it’s normal for women to squeeze breast. BUT MEN SQUEEZING TESTICLES? That’s gay. HAHA.

Hm, I wonder if they have penis too? DUIIIII. Kana curi tia. Jadi dildo or something. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Or jadi ‘blow-job’ room. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ladies, you’ll never know what men are up to these days.. Sighhh..

Then we went to the womb room and experience what it felt like to be in mother’s tummy. It was dark, comfortable and BISING. Ironically we have television inside mother’s womb. Plasma lagi tu. Inda ku ingat ada plasma tv di parut mummy ku ehhhhh!

Anyway, I wore weight jacket and experience what it felt like to be 10 kg fatter. It was…. Okay. Inda jua membari ijap sangat.

After few try outs we decided to go back to Abg Boy’s office the resource center.

That’s when we saw two chairs outside the office.

Abg Boy: What do you think NA? You think they look good outside?

Me: Errr… They’re okayyy

Abg Boy: Turn on your queer eye!

I gave the chairs a definite look. I called it THE GLARE. Makin sipit tia mataku macam si Cat. Jadi Siti Sipit tia ku.

And then Abg Boy laughed. He said it was kind of funny that I turned on my queer eye. HAHA. Must be my sipit eyes. HAHA.

So, I guess that’s it. We went home at 7PM! GILA ESUK EXAM! :S

American Politics, In the eyes of Shanana

Okay, I seriously need to get myself updated every once in a while. It was a shock for me to hear the Californians decided to take gay marriage rights away. That is SOOO WROOUNG.

The gay citizens are downgraded to second class citizens? Again, that is just wroooung. They took their rights away and downgraded them. That's not fair. That's discrimination. Everyone deserve to be in love and happy, by all means they should have the same rights as everyone else.

It just sad for me to see them being treated this way. Here in Brunei, I know it's impossible to give the gay people the same rights (i don't think it's necessary anyway) due to our beliefs. BUT THERE? U.S? Why the fuck do they care that marriage is sacred? Just because it's a celebration of love it doesn't mean it should be limited between a man and a woman only.

Obama does not support gay marriage but at least he believe in Civil Rights. UNLIKE McCain. Oh my god, Proposotion 8 is passed. It felt like McCain won the election. Please give the gay communities in your contry hope my dear Obama. :(

Who would've thought a girl like me could fall in love with CNN, BBC, Al-Jazeera etc. I love watching them since Obama won the Presidential Election.

Throwing my youth away

I am desperate to go out there and start my adventure.

I am sitting here online after 3 hours of studying. WTF is wrong with me? Wasn't I suppose to be out there smoking cigarettes, smoking weeds, bong, heroin, drugs, making out with dudes, climbing trees, rebel against parents etc..

I know throwing myself into such lifestyle is stupid. But you only get to call it stupid when you suffered. If you get out alive, healthy, wealthy believe me you'll call it adventure. Sadly, I never have the guts to start my adventure. Sigh.

I am slowly throwing my youth away. So I made a plan. Hopefully I could take year off and travel to Brazil or South Africa or India to help those poor souls. Because I realized I am whining about throwing my youth away. The truth is; I'm lucky to have a normal life. Children in these third world country is in real trouble. Slavery, prostitution etc. I don't want them to throw their youth away.....

Today I'm a geek, cos tomorrow's worth it.

Hm, notice the post's title? Ahhh, just feel like wanna try something new. After all, life is too short to have a routine. WHAT THE HELL AM I TALKING??

So, I spent 8 FUCKING HOURS in the library today. 7.30 am - 3.30 pm. You may ask, WHAT THE HELL?? Well, Sagu, Matul, Syu and I decided to have a study group. When I say study I really mean it. Sagu, Syu and Matul studied trough notes while I practiced the past year (1997-2007). TEN FUCKING YEARS. I finished all the MCQs. Imagine, each year got 40 MCQs. Times that with ten. HAHH. I DID 400 FUCKING MCQs.

Headache. Sigh, that's why I'm taking a break right now.

I'm listening to Decode right now by Paramore. One of twilight's soundtrack. I'm telling you, that song suits my mood right now. Emo-depressing-vagina song. How lovely.

I've decided to talk more and less picture. Don't worry, it'll all be over soon after my English exam.

I was watching The Fever starring an old woman and Angelina Jolie just now. It's about a rich woman moaning about her rich life because she felt bad for the poor people. AGH. It made me really sick. You're rich, be happy bitch.

But that story got me thinking;

Life's a bit cracky isn't it? It's just so unfair that some people make thousands of dollars by just working 8 hours a day, while others got one dollar by just working 24-hours a day.
So unfair, but it's human nature to be greedy.

Honestly, I have no idea why some people called me chipskate/greedy. Just because I don't want to give money to African charity doesn't mean I'm greedy. I have good reason for that, I don't want them to spend it on drugs!

Another thing is, I'm too poor to pay attention. So paying attention to you will be a waste of time. you know what they say, time is money.
